Areas where you can make a difference:
CURRENT FOCUS: Spokane Food Fighters!
Spokane Food Fighters will be doing another big delivery of produce boxes Saturday, May 23rd! This is the effort connected with local farmers and the Inland Northwest Farmers Market Association. We plan to deliver 397 boxes (20lbs of produce each). This is what Dave Troyke did last Friday. If you can get the word out, we will likely need 90 drivers or more in total. We will have 2 waves of drivers picking up from a site in Liberty Lake 10am and 11am. The best way for people to get engaged is to sign up here:
https://spokanefoodfighters.org/volunteer
Then they will get notice soon of the opportunity to drive for produce boxes this weekend and be in our system so we can email instructions etc.
Let me know if you have questions or if I can be more helpful in some way. Thanks for all the club’s support!!

Family Promise of Spokane supports the most fragile portion of our entire community: The homeless or near-homeless, those teetering on the edge. Be the lifeline they need by using Rotary funds to purchase and deliver emergency food and supplies they request. (This will be an infrequent request, but we need people standing by!)
